The stars out here are amazing, especially if you live in the city where the lights overwhelm the night sky.

If you don’t like to stay up late but are still curious about what is out there, enjoy a Daytime Astronomy Show with a solar scope during mid-afternoon to view the sun and solar flares. Portable Shows start at $350. Please call ahead to reserve your personal star tour.

Or join the Star Party every Saturday night at the Joshua Tree Lake Campground. A group of 20-30 people set up camp and their telescopes to project images from space on 2 large screens.  The show starts at sunset and the best times to view are between 11pm and 1am.  While there is no charge, donations are greatly appreciated.  Please call Tom in advance if you plan to attend (714) 325-7202.
