OCOTILLO TREES AT JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK
Ocotillo Tree Ocotillos produce bright green foliage during wet seasons, which turn into needle-sharp thorns in dry seasons. They can attain great heights, with some of the tallest known plants found in the ocotillo garden in the southern part of the park, very near the cholla cactus garden.
